Peacebuilders International (Canada)

Peacebuilders is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to justice for youth facing barriers and advocating for transformative changes within the justice and education systems.

In Canada, traditional punitive approaches in the youth justice system often perpetuate cycles of recidivism, failing to address the underlying causes of youth crime. At Peacebuilders, we champion a restorative approach that fosters social connection, supports youth rehabilitation and invests in building healthier, safer communities.

We believe that every young person deserves the chance to be heard, supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

Vision
A future where youth facing barriers can access justice, reach their full potential and contribute to safer, healthier communities.

Mission
To enhance the capacity of youth and the systems that support them, increase access to justice for youth facing barriers and utilize restorative practices to foster accountability, healing and growth.
