Reconnect York is a project of Environmental Defence. It is our mission to connect people to their neighbours and nature.
Art In Motion 10K/5K/2K is an annual not-for-profit charity run and family walk held in Vaughan, Ontario. Organized by Runanthropic, the event brings runners, walkers, families and volunteers together to support children and youth living with arthritis.
One hundred percent of event proceeds support SickKids Foundation and the Dr. Bonnie Cameron Post-Secondary Scholarship. Over the past 10 years, Art In Motion has raised more than $200,000 and welcomed over 1,600 participants.
Volunteers play an important role in making the event possible by assisting with event setup, participant registration, course support, water stations, finish-line activities and other race-day operations.
Epilepsy Toronto is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people living with epilepsy and other seizure disorders, as well as their families and caregivers. For over 50 years, we have provided free support, education, counselling, employment services, advocacy, and community programs to help people live well and independently.
We also work to increase public understanding of epilepsy, reduce stigma, and build a more inclusive and supportive community. Through our programs, services, and fundraising events, we bring people together, raise awareness, and ensure that individuals and families affected by epilepsy know they are not alone.
