We’re actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic community member to expand our volunteer Board of Directors. We’re seeking individuals with expertise in fundraising, marketing, social services, education, and other relevant areas to help advance our mission. Our FocusIn the upcoming year, our board will focus on implementing our Strategic Plan. We are looking for a board member who can contribute their unique perspectives and skills to help guide our organization in this critical phase. We value diversity in age, strengths, ideas, and backgrounds. As a Facilitator, you'll co-lead restorative circles with youth, families and schools across Toronto. What you'll do:Co-facilitate restorative circles with youth and families alongside a lead staff facilitator, moving toward leading your own once trained Prep for each session by reviewing case background and meeting briefly with staff beforehand Debrief after each circle to track outcomes and next steps for the youth involved Join partner schools on a rotating basis to support youth engagement activities outside of formal circlesWhat you bring: Some experience or strong interest in restorative practices, youth work, or facilitation Comfort working with youth from diverse backgrounds Reliability and a collaborative approach Commitment: Approx. 12 hours per month, flexible week to week, 10-month season, rolling intake with start dates year-round.
