Opportunity Description:

Under the direction of the Volunteer Liaison, the Volunteer will support our clients in using the Covid-19 self-screening kiosk. Demonstrate the use of the Vaughan Community Health Centre’s Covid –19 self-screening and check in kiosk • Greet clients/visitors to appropriate waiting area based on their scheduled appointment • Educate, assist and support clients in using the self-screening kiosk • Trouble shooting basic technical or logistical issues with support from Vaughan CHC staff • Wear personal protective Equipment (PPE), i.e., face mask • Sanitize self-screening kiosk and other surrounding equipment every 2 hours or as required • Reports and submits volunteer hours to the Student & Volunteer Coordinator • Provides advance notice (minimum 48 hours) to the Volunteer Liaison if unable to volunteer at an assigned time. • VCHC volunteers have a responsibility for health and safety and must therefore work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and immediately report hazardous situations, as well as all accidents and incidents, to the Volunteer Liaison or nearest VCHC staff member.
