Community Living Dufferin is a non-profit organization, dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. We’re actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic community member to expand our volunteer Board of Directors. We’re seeking individuals with expertise in fundraising, marketing, social services, education, and other relevant areas to help advance our mission. Our FocusIn the upcoming year, our board will focus on implementing our Strategic Plan. We are looking for a board member who can contribute their unique perspectives and skills to help guide our organization in this critical phase. We value diversity in age, strengths, ideas, and backgrounds. You will be working in a program for adults with acquired communication disabilities with guidance from communicative disorders assistants and speech-language pathologists. Learn strategies to support our clients practice their communication and lead fun activities in our weekly groups. This is a great opportunity to gain some experience with professional staff, make a difference in your community and meet new people.
